A calendar in your language
Configure positions that make it obvious who is working and what they cover.
For salons, spas, and beauty teams
WorkShift HQ helps salon, spa, and beauty managers coordinate schedules, availability, time off, team communication, time tracking, and labor costs.
A practical fit
Build positions around the way your space operates, from stylists and estheticians to reception and closing support. Keep the team’s schedule and day-to-day messages together without turning the calendar into a group-chat puzzle.
Configure positions that make it obvious who is working and what they cover.
Use messages, announcements, tasks, and documents to keep context with the team.
Use the time clock and timesheets to compare scheduled and recorded time; owners review labor-cost estimates.
Part-time schedules are captured up front.
Review stylist availability while assigning shifts.
Owners review wage estimates; managers see pay only if granted.
Cost is visible without exposing pay broadly.
Appointments data can inform planning after Square onboarding and scopes.
Use booked-demand context when it is available; cached data may be stale.
Schedules are planned privately, reviewed, then published as a whole workspace. Sending published schedules by email is a separate step, and you can resend later.

Staff can use the browser portal. Ask the manager for the approved companion-app install route if you prefer it. Requests and other tools depend on individual permissions; internet access is required.
No. Keep booking, specialist industry tools, accounting and payroll in their own systems. WorkShift supports staffing decisions, coordination and reviewed hours; it does not certify staffing sufficiency or run payroll.
Check configured staffing targets, then review all workspace changes before publication. Publication can queue change notices; monthly schedule-email resends are separate.

Staff self-service tools depend on per-person permissions; cover claims need manager approval. Owners and individually pay-approved managers can review pay reports. Time-clock records need review and do not process payroll. Solo and Studio support one location; Salon supports multiple locations. Email and optional opted-in text alerts require configured providers. Ask your manager for the current approved staff-app install route; public app-store availability is not confirmed.
